Fair Housing Advocates of Northern California (FHANC) provides free comprehensive fair housing counseling, complaint investigation, and assistance in filing housing discrimination complaints with the California Civil Rights Department (CRD). FHANC also regularly conducts audit investigations to determine the extent of housing discrimination in the local housing and lending markets. FHANC is certified to offer pre-purchase and foreclosure prevention counseling and education.
