Fair Housing Advocates of Northern California school programs educate Marin, Sonoma and Solano Counties' children on the value of diversity in our schools and neighborhoods and promote concepts of equality, respect and human rights. These programs are available to private and public schools and community groups.
Fair Housing Poetry Contest
As part of National Fair Housing Month, Fair Housing Advocates of Northern California hosts a Poetry Contest for Marin, Sonoma and Solano counties' children in grades 3-12. The Poetry Contest gives children the opportunity to express their views and creative insights on the concepts of diversity, inclusion, and fair housing.
The 2024 theme is "A Path to Diversity; A World of Inclusion". The deadline for entries is April 15. Winning students will be invited to read their poem during the virtual Fair Housing Conference on April 24, 2024.
