Pre-purchase Certification Workshop

​Fair Housing Advocates of Northern California
In collaboration with Marin Housing and other agencies in the Bay Area offering affordable housing and resources for homebuyers

Topics to be covered include:
- The homebuying process and steps to homeownership
- Housing affordability
- Financial and credit management
- The lending process and fair lending
​- Federal, state, and local programs and resources for first-time homebuyers (including Below Market Rate homeownership opportunities and downpayment assistance)

​HUD Certification:
- This workshop offers the certificate needed to apply for Below Market Rate (BMR) homeownership opportunities and for first-time homebuyer assistance programs.  
​- Participants need to attend both dates and fulfill all requirements to obtain a HUD Certificate. More details at registration.
