The conference offers an overview of the federal and state fair housing laws, followed by small group discussions to help find practical solutions to commonly asked questions from housing providers and tenants on reasonable accommodations for people with disabilities during the application, occupancy, and eviction stages. I appreciate that this post shared that when looking for disability services, it is important that we consider their expertise. It makes sense as in doing so, it ensures that we choose the right service for our needs. I will definitely be more mindful in the future.
